Lovely composition Suzanne, it looks like you're using professional studio lighting? ...and strange how such a colourful & beautiful subject lends itself nicely to monochrome, too.

Suzanne: I have the soft light of late afternoon to thank for that. I used the best professional studio there is..outside light. smile
The rest is just what can happen after. smile
…I’ll get myself a little wooden box
to keep the feeling behind the wooden lid
I’ll then sit down and write myself a letter
explaining to myself what happened, where and why
all that is left from you is just a feeling…
Suzanne: ...when all that is left of me is a feeling
it will hold you tight so that
what you keep in your little wooden box
and what you write to yourself
will hold me close
to you...
wow, Suzanne. this is an amazing photo. 5 stars!
Suzanne: The 5 stars belong to the early show of a soft spring. smile
superb, composition, lighting, mono, black background, superb
Suzanne: It doesn't look like you missed anything here, Derek. Thank you. smile

In me I know
not to feel again
petals against the brow
beauty in the fenn

Not such an inspiring day for mesmile Have a good one yourself.
Suzanne: But soft petals against your brow will let you feel again and perhaps your days will then become in your life. smile

It's stunning, Suzanne...and a Likey for me.
Suzanne: My pleasure, Ginnie, if this makes you happy. smile
This is an excellent B&W Suzanne.
Suzanne: Thank you, Ron. smile
Excellent Suzanne, everything about it smile
Suzanne: Excellence is like that, Linda. Everything has to be just right. smile
stunning Suzannesmile enjoy your weekend.
Suzanne: Stunning me? Gosh, Tim. I think I am blushing. hahaha
Happy weekend to you too. smile
Exquisitely captured, Suzanne. I agree that sometimes the best light is natural light.
Suzanne: Natural light works more wonders at the right time of any time really. So much of what it reveals is not always visible at first glance. It can erase everything and leave behind but traces of what is, or it can show every little detail. It is exquisite to have so many ways in which to play with the LIght. smile
Suzanne: The flowers thank you, Amoi. They love being appreciated when they wear their spring dresses. smile
