photoblog image The Touch of a Kiss

The Touch of a Kiss

When time's measure passes by

and the birds keep singing

and the trees keep whispering

as the wind blows ashes and shadows

of love and tenderness and light,

remember the yielding bloom of skin

under the touch of your hand,

and the feel of a kiss as a blessing

upon all that you are

and all that you gave,

and in the easy flight of a rising soul,

left behind, for you,

is a love without end...

Oh, Ms. Susanne... I don't know what makes my heart to ache teh most, your poem or your picture. Perhaps, both. I know, I will return to this post not once, and I'm sure I'll be not the only one.
I don't even remember seeing a post emotionally rival to this one either on shutter or anywhere else.
Suzanne: I hope your heart has mended, Viktor, and that when you return you can find here the sense that even though endings are poignant and difficult, they hold inside them the seed of another life that is for each of us to make.
Beautiful images, and wonderful words Suzanne.
Suzanne: I'm glad that they have touched you in some way, Frances. smile

Monumental ... what else can I say? A love without end ... a whisper.
Suzanne: I think that deep love is felt that way, a whisper amidst the cacaphony of life. It is the voice that can bring the sun in the darkest of places. I wish it for everyone. smile

Suzanne, such a perfect diptych you've created with two of the most beautiful and important things, hands and flowers; this is very sensible and emotional! And some touching words too! Love the images, love the words!
Suzanne: The hands and the flowers are a means to express something much bigger than either one.
The care and sensitivity one puts into life is as important as how we leave it. I am happy that you found something here that touches you, Codrin. smile

Suzanne, the touch of your visual and written poetry, of your thoughtful soul I am experiencing, goes deeper than I can express with words and I thank you for that.
Suzanne: There are inner worlds that are common to all of us, Iris, and in those depths we find each other the same, so in thanking me, you are in touch with your own story. We all have our own private ones but they all live under the same sky, the same sun, the same sea. This is where hearts connect. smile
