photoblog image We sat beneath the tall tree...

We sat beneath the tall tree...

...and talked of impossible things,

of wanting the moment to remain,

and in the simple world of everyday,

in the aching and heartening bloom of time,

it found a way

to live forever...

Oh, Ms. Suzanne.... How incredibly beautiful and nostalgic. You not only talked, you made the impossible things happen. smile It was well worth the wait. Absolutely.
Suzanne: It does happen from time to time that waiting long enough for something makes room for the impossible. Sometimes, Viktor, hope is rewarded in magical ways. smile
A beautiful image, and perfect words to go with it.
Suzanne: Thank you, Elizabeth. Sometimes, one has to go with the other. smile
You've captured the 'foreverness' of your words smile
Suzanne: In this case, Martin, the image captured me first. The words came after. smile
Moody picture, and nice words, and a very good archive, Suzanne.
Suzanne: Thank you, Frank, and another one for spending time in my archive. smile
Perfect words to match with this wonderful image Suzanne!
Suzanne: There is more than one way to express feelings. Music, art, literature, photography. If I can approximate even a little bit of what is good about all of these ways, it makes for a worth while passing of time. smile Thank you, Richard.
A good poem and a fine image...
Suzanne: I'm glad you think so, Larry. Thank you.

The chiars are not succeeding with forever. smile An excellent posting.
Suzanne: But forever doesn't end with the chairs, Louis. It is but a stepping stone to yet another way that it will show itself. That's what forever does. Surely, you know better than that. smile

Ah, you see that is the realist in me. When the chair has become sawdust or mold, it is a chair no more. It was a place where children played, adults sat to enjoy the shade or sun (depending on the season); then fell in disrepair to feed the termites and worms. They in turn fertilise soil and voila! A new tree starts to grow ...

An apple tree. And then you eat the apple aged 8 and die aged 88, there could be some very small piece of apple left in you. Which will be recycled by some small critter, to fertilise an oak tree, from which your great grandson will make an Adirondack ...

Forever is like never. No-one has been there. And it could be full of surprises, if we ever reach it. Like realising your great grandson is sitting on you as a chair. Oh, my.

That was some realistic fantasising smile
