Suzanne this is knock out! Love it, love it, love it! Wow! And Shakespeare too!
Suzanne: Thank you so much, Jose. Blossoms simply seem to make everything soft.
Ah spring!
Very nice, Suzanne. I like the depth of field, and the color behind the flower...the soft purple. very dreamy.
Suzanne: Hi Kay! The background colors are more flowers..Thank you!
when we where young girls, my best friend samantha and i used to pick these flowers and break them apart in the middle to make cinderela slippers. the stem in the middle of the heart would be her wand. thank you for sharing this soft and beautiful image suzanne. it brought back sweet memories of sisterhood!
Suzanne: Hey Genevieve! Nice to have you visit! What a sweet story..cinderella slippers..magic wands..you lived in a fairytale then.
beautiful Suzanne, straight out of a dream!
Suzanne: Thank you, Paul..the dream of soft little hearts weaving their way into the springtime green that holds them up.
This is almost like a Monet or Cézanne! I may not have the artist right but it IS like a painting. So lovely, Suzanne.
Suzanne: Thank you, Ginnie..seemed like too much of a literal vision of something so ethereal would just not do them justice.
As you know I'm very fond of this kind of shot, this one is just as beautiful as a painting !
Suzanne: Thank you, Zeb. Apologies for the long delay in replying to your comment..de temps en temps j'ai besoin de prendre un peu de recul et d'effacer toute influence externe... nice to be back though.
Absolutely perfect. I can imagine fairies in this painting peeking out around the bleeding heart...How beautiful it is!The soft colors are perfect with the delicate white hearts.
Suzanne: Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Sorry for the delay in replying though..
so delicate and beautiful.. love the colours and the blur
Suzanne: I took this photo from my porch as they sit in a pot by the door..I wanted to do justice to the delicacy of the flower without making it took typical of a flower photo. Thank you very much!
Well composed, and the shallow DOF adds an element of mystery
Suzanne: Thank you,Larry. Using a shallow dof was the only way to isolate the flowers from a busy background of other flowers and foliage that would have competed rather than enhanced these delicate ones.
Ginnie beat me to it (by a couple of months!) but I was going to say it's very Monet-esque. The lilac background is responsible in the main for this feeling, I think.
Classy.
Suzanne: The background colours definitely had a role to play in how I took this photo. The Bleeding Heart flowers are so delicate I needed softness to show them as I see them..an impressionistic feel is what I went for. Thank you!
Hello Suzanne, This photo of bloody heart is beautiful. I feel through the glance of your photos all the sweetness which gets free of it. You have the artistic sense a lot. Your house is more than magnificent.
Escuse my English, I speak little.
Stunning shot & fitting quotation: Bravo!
Suzanne: Thank you so much, Dave..nice to find you so far back in my archive.
A great DOF! Fine!
Suzanne: Thank you for yet another visit today, José-Angel.
