beautiful Suzanne ~*
Suzanne: Thank you, Paul~*
It definitely has "the mood," Suzanne. I like the slow shutter speed here.
Suzanne: Thanks Ginnnie, the mood was both outer and inner.
This is a super shot Suzanne, I like the light on the water a lot and you have certainly captured the power of the ocean.
Suzanne: Thanks so much. I went to the beach just as the sun was setting, that is the light you are seeing on the water. The tide was coming in too so it was a great combination.
My island sister. I don't know you or where you live, but it feels so close. Your photos speak of a beautiful spirit. Thank you for sharing these. I'm looking at each one, absorbing them, and often in tears as I take in the meaning each hold. I'm glad to find your site. Peace and Love to you.
Suzanne: Hi Denise. I live on Gabriola Island, not at all far from you since you are in the Pacific NW. Do you live in the San Juans? I have spent some wonderful times on Lopez and Orcas on the US side of our own Canadian islands. Thank you very much for your lovely commment. This photo, for personal reasons, is very special to me. I hope you visit again!
Are you using a tripod Suz?
Suzanne: No, Mista Skee, I wasn't using one. I know, I know, it would have been better had I used one but I am not a big fan of them mainly because I seem to be much less spontaneous when I carry one around. The light on this shot lasted but a few minutes and it was over..no time to set one up even I had had one with me. I like to travel light but am considering the Gorillapod as an alternative.
Really nice Suzanne. Your speed choice makes the shot !!! I like it !
Suzanne: Thank you, Roland. It's as slow as I dared since it was handheld. Happy you like it!
Lovely stuff, Suzanne! Light & movement give this a foreboding atmosphere...
Suzanne: Thank you so much David. After seeing your sept. 13th photo,I was quite humbled!..made me want to revisit some special ocean spots and try and try again to get a gem such as yours.
In a very small area Suzanne is telling very much about the light. Very nice work.
Suzanne: It lasted all but a minute or so..I was lucky to have driven out there when I did..Thank you!
They say that a good photograph has the imprint of the photographer's emotions at the time and I am sensing something very deep and personal here. A beautiful shot.
Ingrid
Suzanne: Very perceptive of you, Ingrid. It was a very significant day for me. It was the first anniversary of my dad's death and I wanted a photograph to somehow mark the occasion. Thank you for your insight.
Wonderful tones, Suzanne. You really did a wonderful job with this artwork. Lovely, simply lovely.
Suzanne: Hi Kay! Thank you so very much. It was but a passing moment, the light changed so quickly. It was a streak of luck that I went out there when the tide was coming in.
very nice.
Suzanne: Thank You, Dotun!
fantastic seascape...so much energy...
Suzanne: Thanks Sam! ..the incoming tide just as it hit the shore..
Divine. You've really captured the power and movement in this seascape.
Wow! Suzanne! This is a great marine! I love it! Max, must be very happy with this gift!
Really beautiful shot Suzanne ! Bravo !!
Vitesse et cadrage judicieux.
Une belle réussite!
Suzanne: Merci, Rémi. J'ai pris cette photo très tard dans la journée. J'aurais aimer avoir un trépied...
