Ever drifting, drifting, drifting
On the shifting Currents of the restless main; Till in sheltered coves, and reaches Of sandy beaches, All have found repose again. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

If you were an impoverished painter, making your colours from natural materials, Suzanne, this seaweed would be the source of your favourite!
My images are usually tinged fractionally with magenta (because of the bias of Provia film) and yours are always tinged with a dusty cyan hue, just like the weed in the top right corner, so I can see why you were so drawn to take this shot! Lovely!!
Suzanne: Thank you, David. Fascinating comment. You have an amazing eye to see that!
I have not seen the seaweed since I lived on the East Coast. I like the subtlety of the colors.
Suzanne: Hi John, don't you have seaweed in California? I remember being in Santa Cruz a few years back and visiting some of the close beaches..come to think of it, I don't remember seeing any seaweed there. Thank you for your visit.
lovely shot. youve got a great eye for nature shots.
Suzanne: Hi Genevieve. Thank you for saying that. Lately,I have been feeling a bit in a rut photographically. I think I need a bit of change of scenery...guess it's time to get off island and spend time looking at other things.
the colours are wonderful but it lacks the strength of composition that your pictures usually have.
Suzanne: Thanks for pointing that out, Paul. See the comment I made to Genevieve. Time for a change of scenery!
cool photo, nice colours.
Suzanne: Hey Dylan! it's always a special treat to find you here! Thank you!
Great composition and colours. So you have a Longfellow serenade up here - nice.
Suzanne: Thank you so much, Louis. I'm always on the look out for good serenades!
très belle photo
Suzanne: Merci beaucoup pour cette visite!
visto che ti piace l'italiano, te lo dico in italiano: pochi, ma bellissimi colori Suzanne!
Suzanne: Molte grazie, Nicola! Non parlo Italiano..I wish I could say more but as you know, I always love reading your comments..even in Italian.
great colours...
Suzanne: Thanks you Sam for dropping by!
Very nice shot. Very well spotted.
Suzanne: Thanks Pinto..I was having a hard time finding some sort of order amidst all the randomness...not the easiest thing to photograph in way that makes a cohesive photograph.I tried although I suspect that I am probably the only one that can find it.
I really like your words to accompany this lovely image Suzanne, they seem to resonate with me at the moment. mal
Suzanne: Hi Mal! I hope then that your (restless?) drifting takes you to a warm, sandy, beachy cove..all the better for those magical seascapes you are now so famous for! Great to hear from you!
THe colours are awesome, I don't think I've ever seen seaweed this colour, ours are all shades of green and brown
Suzanne: I did saturate the colours a bit more than they would be otherwise..but that is their color. Thank you, Ellie.
Great ! Nature is fine art
Suzanne: Thank Zeb. Can't find any better than what is to be found in Nature.
