Oh my gosh, this one is so pretty, Suzanne. I can almost see it opening up before my eyes! I love the treatment. Nicely done, as always
Suzanne: Thank you, Kay. This one was tucked away..almost missed.
Lovely in its muted colours too.
Suzanne: Thank you, Lilith..it's 'natural' color is bright yellow.
very lovely!! great toning...
Petra
Suzanne: Hi Petra. Thank you. It was a little treasure waiting to be discovered in it's unfolding.
very very lovely image Suzanne, great image. mal
Suzanne: Thank you for the superlatives, Mal. It seems symbolic of many things..guarding what's inside, yet opening and reaching.
The petals look like paper with lines drawn carefully on them. I love the secretivenes of this flower as if it were shy! Beautiful toning Suzanne.
Suzanne: What a lovely sense of this opening, Jose. In 'real life' there is nothing shy about it in it's bright yellow showing off color.
"Small detail" my eye, Suzanne. This is fabulous. Ditto to all the comments above.
Suzanne: Thanks Ginnie...small amidst all the surroundings but your eye is right!
not so small after all.
Cracking details; well caught Suzanne.
Suzanne: HI Chris. Thank you. I was on a treasure hunt in the garden when I found this little gem.
Oooh, wow! Lovely picture, I do like it
Suzanne: I'm so glady you like it, Ellie. Thank you.
Beaoooootiful! I'm sure there's a little fairie in there trying to catch a snooze...
Suzanne: LOL! perhaps I should go have a look!
Very seductive, very brave and appropriate toning- a different side to Suzanne here- love it!
Suzanne: Brave! Gee..thank you, David! I had no idea I was being brave. She just looked so much better in these tones than in the bright yellow she was wearing.
very beautiful.
Suzanne: Thank you, Dotun.
Nice processing. This is so delicate, I would fear to breathe for disturbing the petals if I were up close! They look almost like they are made of paper, the petals. Beautiful, if a teensy weensy bit dark....
Suzanne: They are so much more resilient that what they look like. These flowers are on long stalks and the wind whips them around... no harm done! I will follow your advice and work on it a bit more and bring more light in the petals. Thank you.
Very nice! It manages to look old and crisp at the same time, something a genuinely old photograph can't do.
Suzanne: Thank you, Martin. What an interesting thing to say. I had never actually thought of that.
I've missed this one Suzanne..I'm sorry. lovely tones..this is a kind of focus that I like so much for these pics. You've a lovely garden...
Suzanne: hi Nicola! Thank you and no apologies necessary for missing this. That you came by and visit is a gift as always.
Wonderful one ! Bravo !!
Beeeeeeautiful!
